Please schedule "registration-related" advising appointments no more than TWO WEEKS before your registration date. To verify when your registration date is, please check Testudo (Appointment & Registration Status).

Smith Minor Advising:
For Smith School students admitted to the College Park campus, advising is located in the Undergraduate Program Office, 1570 Van Munching Hall. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Advising appointments are generally available from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Mon-Fri. Walk-in advising is also available for Smith School Students who have a quick question or immediate concern. Typically walk-in advising is available from 10:30 a.m. -1 p.m. Mon-Fri; however, to confirm the weekly walk-in advising schedule, please consult the posted schedule in the Office of Undergraduate Studies, 1570 VMH, or call 301-405-2286. At orientation, Smith School students are assigned an academic advisor, and it is recommended that students visit their advisor each semester to ensure that they are informed about current requirements and procedures. Advising appointments can only be made with a student's assigned advisor. For walk-in advising, a student sees the advisor who is on duty at that time. If you are unsure who your advisor is, please stop by or call the Undergraduate Studies Office, 1570 VMH, 301-405-2286 for assistance.
