How the Smith Online MBA Works
The Smith School's Online MBA program is crafted and delivered entirely by the top-ranked full-time faculty and staff here at the school. While many business schools use outside for-profit management companies to design and administer their online programs and outsource teaching to adjunct faculty, we use tuition money to continually advance our program, and in turn our students' and alumni's careers and ambitions. Faculty who teach in our program are the same faculty who teach our in-residence MBA courses.
Your work will be evenly divided between online classroom learning and self-paced learning on your own time. This only adds to the customized flexibility of the Online MBA experience.
If your schedule allows you to travel to one of our three campuses in Rockville, Md.; Baltimore, Md.; or Washington, D.C., you can add on-campus courses, a certificate or experiential learning to your course load.
The Online MBA allows you to either pursue a general degree or specialize in one of four career tracks: Finance, Information Systems/Business Analytics, Marketing, or Supply Chain Management.
