UMD is planning for in-person study abroad in the Spring 2023 semester. Applications are now open.

Due to the evolving nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, the University reserves the right to cancel programs before the program start date. Maryland Smith students applying to study abroad for the Spring 2023 semester should remain registered for Spring 2023 courses at UMD until advised otherwise.

Guanghua School of Management

The Guanghua School of Management, Peking University has the most competitive undergraduate business program in China. Guanghua has a total enrollment of more than 3,000 students and recently won first place as the most Influential MBA of China in a ranking conducted by World Executive. The Guanghua MBA program is ranked 2nd within mainland China 57th worldwide in the Financial Times MBA Ranking 2014. The Peking University campus is traditional with a beautiful lake and is integrated well with its host city, with many forms of public transportation nearby to whisk students throughout Beijing.

University of Hong Kong Business School

The University of Hong Kong (HKU) is the premier institution of higher education in Hong Kong. The medium of teaching at HKU is English, and you can learn Mandarin or Cantonese according to your own level. Vienna University of Economics and Business

Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, founded in 1903 as part of the Universié Libre de Bruxelles, is home to 1,800 students, many of those students from foreign countries. Copenhagen Business School

Copenhagen Business School (CBS) is a private educational institution established in 1917 by the Danish Society for the Advancement of Business Education. CBS has around 19,000 students and an annual intake of around 1,000 exchange students. With this number of students as well as around 400 full-time researchers and around 500 administrative employees, CBS is one of the three largest business schools in Northern Europe. CBS is internationally accredited by AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA: the “triple-crown” accreditation. The CBS campus is an urban campus located in Frederiksberg, an integrated part of Copenhagen. The buildings are modern with state-of-the-art facilities. The campus is connected to downtown Copenhagen and the airport with three on-campus Metro stops.
