After hosting nearly a decade of “Shark Tank”-style student pitch competitions, the University of Maryland Robert H.

The University of Maryland’s longstanding commitment to instill innovation in Terps helped place it among the nation’s top schools for entrepreneurship education in rankings released Nov. 15, by The Princeton Review and Entrepreneur magazine.

The Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship is proud to announce its fourth cohort of the Terp Startup Fellows program, made possible by a generous donation from Dingman Center Board Member Bill Boyle '81.

On April 28, the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business welcomed alums and supporters back to College Park for the inaugural celebration of the Dean’s Circle – a recognition society for individuals who have invested over $100,000 toward Maryland Smith in their lifetime.

Maryland Smith alum Kevin Plank ’96, speaking with University of Maryland President Darryll J. Pines during a keynote chat at the third annual EnTERPreneurship Conference on June 9, urged members of the audience to support and acknowledge entrepreneurial hustle whenever they are able to – including something as simple as stopping at a children’s lemonade stand.

The Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship is pleased to announce that it has accepted 12 University of Maryland student teams into its 2022 Terp Startup Accelerator summer program.
