Study Abroad Exchange Programs Are Kicking Off in Fall 2022
This fall, the Center for Global Business welcomed 36 incoming exchange students to the Robert H. Smith School of Business, and for the first time since spring 2020, exchange programs have almost completely returned to pre-pandemic levels.

$1.34 Million Grant Reinforces Smith’s Center for Global Business
A $1.34 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education through its Title IV Centers for International Business (CIBE) program will enable the Center for Global Business at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business to expand its portfolio of programs through 2026.

For Students, a Day for Embassies and Global Thinking
Embassy Day, a two-part event of the Smith Start experience and the first introduction to a global mindset as a Maryland Smith student, invites freshmen and transfer students to meet diplomatic representatives in embassies throughout Washington, D.C., and to learn more about the respective countries. This year, 15 countries participated and met virtually with over 100 students.
