The University of Maryland invites students, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends to join us on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018, for the Fishlinger Family Lecture Series with Jeffrey Sonnenfeld, senior associate dean of leadership programs and the Lester Crown Professor in the Practice of Management at the Yale School of Management.
On Dec. 20, 2017, 778 students graduated from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business with bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees. The commencement ceremony was held at the Xfinity Center in College Park, Md. The entire ceremony is available online. Watch now.

Join the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017, at 9 a.m. as we celebrate the accomplishments of business graduates at the Xfinity Center in College Park, Md. For winter commencement, tickets are not required for the Smith School ceremony or the campus-wide ceremony on Tuesday, Dec. 19.

Students starting their careers should ask themselves three questions, Unilever North America President Kees Kruythoff said on Oct. 10, 2017, at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. “These individual discussions can help you discover your personal purpose,” Kruythoff said during a CEO @ Smith keynote address. “People with purpose, they thrive.”
