Employment Reports
Each year, the Office of Career Services at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business provides employment data that promotes career outcomes for our academic programs. These employment reports showcase the success of our graduates and are used by prospective students to help them make informed career decisions. This performance data is also useful to our alumni, employers and other stakeholders.
Below you will find employment reports for our Undergraduate program, Full-Time MBA program and our eight Business Master’s programs (grouped by category).
Business Master’s – Analytics
The Business Master’s – Analytics report consists of employment data on the following Business Master’s programs: Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA), Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS), and Master of Science in Marketing Analytics (MSMA).
Our capstone course brought in companies with real business problems, which gave us in-depth experience using our technical and conflict resolution skills.

Business Master’s – Finance and Accounting
The Business Master’s – Finance and Accounting report consists of employment data on the following Business Master’s programs: Master of Finance (MFin), Master of Quantitative Finance (MQF), and Master of Science in Accounting (MSA).
My experiential learning team developed a housing risk model from metropolitan housing trends. It was industry relevant and great for job interviews.

The Business Master’s – Management and Operations report consists of employment data on the following Business Master’s programs: Master of Science in Supply Chain Management (MSSCM) and Master’s in Management Studies (MiM).
I chose Smith’s Master’s in Management Studies (MiM) program because I knew it would provide me with a wide range of skills and real-world experiences that I could apply to the business environment I wanted to enter post-graduation.
