June 17, 2022

REGISTER TO ATTEND

On June 17, the Robert H. Smith School at the University of Maryland will host the 2022 Journal of Accounting and Public Policy (JAPP) Conference. This is the tenth in a continuing series of JAPP conferences that rotate among IE Business School in Spain, the London School of Economics (LSE), and the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business.

This year’s conference will celebrate JAPP’s 40th birthday at the journal’s birthplace. The conference will explore the journal’s continued areas of interest as stated in the journal’s Aims and Scope as published in JAPP’s first issue: “…research papers focusing on the intersection between accounting and public policy. Preference is given to papers illuminating through theoretical or empirical analysis, the effects of accounting on public policy and vice-versa. Subjects treated in this journal include the interface of accounting with economics, political science, sociology, or law.”
