“National Small Business Week celebrates the resilience, innovation, and economic contributions of the country’s small businesses and startups,” says Rebecca Bellinger, CGB’s executive director. “While this is a week dedicated specifically to these small enterprises, we at the center recognize the vital role that SMEs play in Maryland's economy every day.”

The Center for Global Business (CGB) at Maryland Smith hosted Careers Crossing Borders: A Dinner Networking Conversation. The event was the first of a two-part opportunity for students to explore and navigate career paths in international business, gain perspective from professionals about their career experiences and leverage their global mindset in their career exploration.

The University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business honored 19 inductees at the unveiling of its Hall of Fame and showed appreciation to members of the Dean’s Circle during the inaugural Dean’s Honors event on Thursday, April 27.
