The University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business is happy to welcome 12 new full-time faculty members to start the fall semester of 2014. New faculty joined the following areas:

Accounting and Information Assurance

  • Sebahattin Demirkan, Visiting Assistant Professor
  • Samuel Handwerger, Lecturer (formerly adjunct faculty)

Decisions, Operations and Information Technology

  • Arnie Greenland, Professor of Practice
  • Radu Lazar, Senior Lecturer

Finance                      

  • Cecilia Bustamante, Assistant Professor

  • Santosh Shrihari, Assistant Professor

Management and Organization                  

  • Neta Moye, Clinical Full Professor

Center for Complexity in Business              

  • Anamaria Berea, Research Associate

Also joining Smith’s teaching roster this fall are new adjunct faculty members: Clarence Wesley and Karin Hurt in Management and Organizations; and Ron Hill in Marketing.
