Smith Commencement is May 22

Join the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business on Monday, May 22, 2017, as we celebrate the accomplishments of more than 1,000 business graduates at two commencement ceremonies. The ceremonies will take place at the Xfinity Center in College Park, Md. Tickets are not required for the Smith School ceremonies but please note that tickets are required for the campus-wide ceremony on Sunday, May 21.

University of Maryland alumnus Richard Dickson is the keynote speaker. He serves as Mattel's President and Chief Operating Officer, with responsibility for all aspects of Mattel’s iconic portfolio of global consumer brands, including Barbie, Hot Wheels, Fisher-Price, Monster High and Thomas & Friends, as well as Toy Box, Mattel’s hub of toy innovation and invention.

The following students will speak at commencement: Kelly Cosgriff (undergraduate double major in finance and economics), Kevin Hannigan (full-time MBA), Aisha Hasan (part-time MBA), and Luye Yang (MS in marketing analytics).
