It’s that time of year again. The annual March Madness games are here, and anyone watching the men’s NCAA tournament last Monday knows that the Maryland Terrapins have (unfortunatley) been eliminated from the competition.

Netflix released the third season of “Cobra Kai” last month, and it quickly became one of the streaming service’s biggest shows. A sequel series to the popular “Karate Kid” movies of the 1980s, “Cobra Kai” attracted many fans with its combination of action, comedy and nostalgia. As an MBA with an interest in marketing, I've been watching the story, and the story behind the story.

I recently had the opportunity to attend a virtual Lunch and Learn event about the major Indian holiday, Diwali. Last year, the on-campus Diwali celebration was one of the highlights of the academic year, so I was very excited to participate in more festivities this semester. Event attendees were given gift cards that they could use at a nearby Indian restaurant of their choice, so we could all share a virtual Diwali meal. Personally, I went with an order of butter chicken, samosas and the mango/yogurt drink, lassi (it was delicious).
