Maryland Smith’s Rachel Yu Named Among “Undergraduate Researchers of the Year”

Maryland Smith’s Rachel Yu ’21, a graduating senior majoring in information systems and government and politics, was selected as one of the University of Maryland’s “Undergraduate Researchers of the Year” for 2021.

Yu was honored with a $1,000 award and a plaque from the Maryland Center for Undergraduate Research and the Office of Undergraduate Studies.

2 Smith Seniors Honored for Academics, Service

Two Maryland Smith graduating seniors will be honored this week as part of the 2021 Maryland Medallion Society, which also makes them finalists for the University of Maryland Model Citizenship Prize and the Wilson H. Elkins Award. They join 18 other students from across campus in receiving the honor.
