COVID-19 Updates & Resources

The University of Maryland is actively monitoring the outbreak of respiratory illness caused by a novel (new) coronavirus (termed “COVID-19”) that was first detected in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China. Very rapidly, the virus has been detected in numerous countries including the United States.

At this time, there are confirmed cases in the State of Maryland. The University Health Center is in regular communication with county and state health officials and will share additional information on this web page as it becomes available.

The University will have reduced operations the week of March 23, 2020, and will be moving to an online environment starting March 30, 2020, and continuing at least to April 10, 2020. Learn more.
