Smith Undergrads Score High in Bloomberg ‘Talent Search’

Finance majors at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business hold three of the top five spots in a September ranking of Bloomberg Aptitude Test (BAT) scores.

Alexander Wilson (second), H. Addison Euhus (third) and Jonah Weisel (fifth) placed in the “America’s Top 5” BAT scores in the latest Bloomberg Institute Hall of Fame listing.

BAT is a two-hour multiple-choice exam designed to assess aptitude for business and finance. Scores are entered anonymously into a related database where more than 20,000 top firms can search for internship and full-time candidates.

Collectively, Smith students taking the exam in September scored higher than the average of their peers representing all other schools around the world.

Bloomberg Institute administers the test as part of its mission to connect top college students with leading financial employers worldwide.

Smith students prepare for exam with access to 60 Bloomberg-licensed workstations — among the most at any U.S. business school.  See Wall Street Tools Give Edge to Smith Students.
