Sining Song is an Assistant Professor of supply chain management at the Department of Logistics, Business and Public Policy. Song’s research focuses on sustainable supply chain and operations management, mobile network and FinTech, and innovation and technology management. Her work has won multiple best paper awards and has been published in leading academic journals such as Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Production and Operations Management, Journal of Operations Management, and Information Systems Research.

Prior to joining Smith, Song was an Assistant Professor at the Haslam College of Business, University of Tennessee. She also brings industry experience in supply chain management, marketing, and finance within the food and retail sectors. Song’s teaching expertise includes global sourcing, sustainability, and supply chain management, for which she has received teaching excellence awards.
