Smith School of Business got their first taste of corporate consulting, data analysis and the whirlwind pace of business school life during the MBA Orientation Live Case Competition on Friday, August 19, 2016.

“Dream, Girl” Film Screening

Smith School of Business is excited to kick off the 2016-17 school year with a screening of the film Dream, Girl, a documentary that showcases inspiring success stories of female entrepreneurs. Welcome & Welcome Back, Smith Terps!

It may still feel like the middle of summer, but orientation events are already underway at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business for the 2016-17 school year. Full-time MBA students will take part in a two-week orientation that begins on Aug. 8. International MBA students are already here at Smith to kick-of their program. Students in the specialty masters programs start their one-week orientation on Aug. 12. New part-time MBA students will be at Van Munching Hall for orientation on Aug. 13.
