Winter 2020 Abroad: Gaining, Sharing Knowledge All Around the World

It’s like a stack of international postcards, combined with a science fair and infused with real-life experience and learning. And every year, it’s a fascinating exhibition of global study abroad programs. The Center for Global Business at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business hosted its fifth annual Global Showcase on Feb. 13, 2020, presenting projects from study abroad programs of the Winter 2020 term.

Students’ Global Learning on Display at 2nd Annual Global Showcase

Posters filled the halls of the Smith School atrium on February 16, 2017, as more than 140 undergraduate students gathered to showcase their global learning. Student participants recently returned from five faculty-led, short-term study abroad programs that traveled over winter break to the following locations: Australia and New Zealand; Dubai and Hong Kong; Japan; South Africa; and London, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
