Friday, Sept. 19, 2014, was a record-setting day for the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. In fact, it was a slam-dunk for students and employers, alike. More than 100 employers connected with 1,000+ students at the sold-out Smith Undergraduate Career Fair.

Smith Parents Visit Campus for Jazz & Dessert

On Sept. 12, 2014, current undergraduate students and their parents came to campus for a special “Jazz & Desserts” reception at the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business. The University of Maryland has selected Robert H. Smith School of Business Professor Gilad Chen as a 2014-15 Distinguished Scholar-Teacher. He is one of six professors to receive the honor this year. 

Smith Welcomes New Faculty Members

Smith Students Take on Summer Internships in Australia

Right after spring final exams, 10 undergraduate students at the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business traveled to Sydney, Australia, with Mary Harms, a clinical associate professor of marketing. The program began with an intensive two-week global marketing course taught by Harms and culminated with eight-week internships at companies such as PwC, Chubb, Otis, Nielsen, 3M, and the Greater Western Sydney Giants.
