The Smith School and Campus Partners Help to Make Career Week 2024 a Success

In its fourth year, Career Week 2024 boasted 2,600 registrants and 1,300 attendees. With 25 diverse in-person and virtual sessions, alumni engaged in professional development and networking opportunities. Organized by the Alumni Association, this collaboration featured 11 strategic partners, including the Smith School’s Office of Alumni Relations.

Palpable optimism and endless opportunity filled the halls of the College Park Marriott Conference Center as undergraduate and graduate students participated in career events at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Hosted by Smith’s Office of Career Services as a two-day affair, the Smith School’s Undergraduate Career Fair and Graduate Career Expo united students, alumni and industry professionals under one roof where they explored employment opportunities and jump-started careers.
