Smith Association of Women MBAs

The Smith Association of Women MBAs (SAWMBA) helps grow and celebrate the careers of women in business. SAWMBA fosters professional and personal growth opportunities where we address the pressing issues facing women and their advancement in the workplace. SAWMBA develops a support system for women at Smith, and creates friendships that last beyond the two-year MBA.

Anuja hails from Bangalore, India and holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and International Business. Prior to the MBA, she worked for four years in compliance and risk management at an investment bank. She is excited to continue her MBA journey at Smith and help create a supportive and inclusive environment for all through her role as the president of SAWMBA. In her free time, Anuja loves reading murder mysteries, watching true crime shows and exploring new restaurants in the DMV.

Fun Fact

I love painting and specialize in an anicent form of painting from India that involves the use of real gold.

Courtney McClammy

Vice President of Finance

Courtney is originally from Kansas, but has spent the last few years living in Maryland due to her military career. During her time in the military, she focused on planning and executing deployment and exercise operations. She obtained her bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland- Global Campus and enrolled into Smith's Full-Time MBA program to help with her transition into her civilian career. In her free time she enjoys exploring the DMV area with her husband and their two dogs, reading mystery books, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs.

Fun Fact

Courtney likes to collect passport stamps from National Parks that she visits. So far, her favorite stamp collected was from Denali National Park in Alaska.
