Stacks on Smith Senior Pancake Night

As the 2013 calendar year comes to an end, the Smith School faculty and staff are celebrating our 2014 Senior Class with the Inaugural Senior Pancake Night: Stacks on Smith.

On Wednesday, December 18, the senior class will be treated to a pancake dinner, served by their favorite faculty. Outfitted in aprons and chef hats, Dean Triantis, Dean Mullins, Professor Basu, Professor Harms and many others will serve up pancakes and wish our students well as they head into final exams and the home stretch of their undergraduate studies.

Stacks on Smith is a signature senior event that exemplifies the sense of community that is core to Smith's supportive and collaborative spirit. In celebrating seniors with an informal, fun gathering, the deans and the faculty have the opportunity to connect with students outside the classroom. It is also the beginning of what Dean Mullins hopes is a long tradition at the Smith School. "We are SO excited to begin this new undergraduate tradition with the Smith Senior Class of 2014!  Faculty and staff will celebrate our seniors by serving each one of them piping hot pancakes and all the fixings!  Ummm Ummmm!  Hey seniors, get your appetites ready," the dean quipped.

The event begins at 7 p.m. in Van Munching Hall's Pownall Grand Atrium. Seniors will enjoy stacks of hotcakes and an assortment of breakfast fare and leave with full bellies and a great Smith School memory.
