Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs Patricia Cleveland, along with three other Smith faculty and staff members, took 23 honors students to Oahu, Hawaii, January 5-15, 2007 for a trip that they wont soon forget.

The Smith Entrepreneurship Club is pleased to announce the Venture Capital Investment Competition on February 14-16, 2007 at the Smith School of Business. In the competition, MBA students judge the business plans and pitches of local start-up companies currently seeking funding, choose a company in which to invest, and produce a term sheet for the investment.

Irene Chang Britt, the VP and general manager of Campbell Soups Sauces and Beverages division, spoke to more than 100 students on March 2, 2007, encouraging each to 'know yourself' to become a better leader.

Legendary Internet pundit Seth Godin spoke to a packed auditorium of students and corporate partners on Friday, February 9, 2007 in Van Munching Hall. Known for his thought-provoking and sometimes controversial books, such as All Marketers Are Liars and Unleashing the Ideavirus, Godin believes that both students and companies should think big.
