Wellness Workshop: Relationships and Communication

This Relationships and Communication series will focus on the ins and outs of relationships, from conflict to communication to connection. We will offer tips for healthy interactions and help you get the most out of your relationships, not only with other people but also with social media!

Advanced registration is not required. The workshops will close to new participants 15 minutes after the start of the workshop. Workshops are held only during fall and spring semesters and do not occur on university holidays or closures.

First Wednesday of the Month: Effective Communication Skills
Communication is at the core of all of our relationships. Explore the different styles of communication, see which styles you use the most, and learn about best practices for communicating with the people around you.

Second Wednesday of the Month: Managing Conflict and Setting Boundaries
This workshop will describe healthy and unhealthy types of conflict, explore strategies for setting (and being on the receiving end of) boundaries, and provide best practices for conflict resolution.

Third Wednesday of the Month: Deepening Relationships Through Vulnerability
If you are looking to have stronger and more authentic relationships, join us to explore how vulnerability can help you feel more deeply connected to the people in your life. This workshop is interactive and experiential.

Fourth Wednesday of the Month: #NoFilter: Social Media and Me
Increase your knowledge of social media's impact on mental health, while learning tips to build a healthier relationship with social media.
