Occupy McKeldin

Occupy McKeldin is an event that PSA holds on campus each year to protest campus sexual assault and spread awareness to the student body and the UMD community at large. We host various keynote speakers and provide resources for attendees with an aim of showing solidarity with survivors and increasing education efforts on this pervasive issue. Past speakers have included Rachel Haines, Lindsay Boylan, Lucy Taylor, Rebecca Berkowitz, and Heidi Bresse. This year, our theme is Every 68 Seconds, which represents the frequency at which someone is sexually assaulted in the United States. Please join us for a day of learning from and amplifying the voices of survivors and other individuals who work tirelessly to make positive change in the sphere of sexual assault.
