Jay Habegger began the Smith PhD Program in Fall 2021. Jay’s research interests include how firms make decisions regarding acquisitions (specifically sell-side), bankruptcy, and winding-up, and how technological change drives those decisions. Before beginning doctoral studies, Jay was the founder and CEO of two venture-backed companies.
