The Journal of Service Research (JSR) has been ranked No. 4 of 121 journals for its impact on business research published in 2016. The Journal Citation Reports™ provides annual rankings of journals in a variety of academic disciplines. Rankings are based on the frequency with which articles published in a given journal are cited in papers published in other journals in the field. The resulting “Impact Factor” indicates the quality of a journal, relative to other journals in its field.
JSR is international in scope, and publishes research that is both academically rigorous and managerially relevant. The journal is also multi-disciplinary, featuring articles on service marketing, operations, human resource management, information systems, technology and strategy.
