Terps Football Coach Infuses Leadership and Teamwork Insight in MiM Course

Maryland football coach Michael Locksley is co-teaching a revised “Leadership and Teamwork” course with professor Sheetal Singh in the Smith School’s Master of Science in Management Studies program, emphasizing experiential learning on leadership and teamwork for about 60 students.

Attend your first class at UMD Smith: Negotiation 101. A fan-favorite class, Professor Rellie Derfler-Rozin will introduce you to the science behind negotiations, dispel common misconceptions and give practical strategies for your next negotiation.

This one-hour mock class will introduce how data analytics is reshaping accounting. Using practical cases, it will show how professionals apply key techniques—such as ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), data visualization, and process automation—to gain insights, improve decisions, and boost efficiency in areas like audit, financial analysis, and tax. Terp Siblings Share Smith and Paris Olympics Experience
