During these 4-5 day IB agility labs, students will benefit from exposure to an international company, work on teams with business students around the world, and gain hands-on case experience to build their resumes. Each IB agility lab will focus on one functional area of business and will include an optional virtual cultural activity.

Distinguished Speakers in International Business Series and CEO @ Smith Present: CEO of EY, Carmine Di Sibio

Carmine Di Sibio assumed his role of CEO and global chairman at EY in July 2019, rising to the top spot after more than 30 years with the company. He leads the 280,000 employees who provide consulting, assurance, tax and transaction services in more than 150 countries. This event is the latest in the CEO @ Smith speaker series, co-hosted with Maryland Smith's Center for Global Business.

Global Trade During COVID 19: WTO Response

Join Kislaya Prasad, academic director of the Center for Global Business as he hosts Emmanuelle Ganne of the World Trade Organization to discuss the "Global Trade During COVID 19: WTO Response." Topics to be discussed include how global trade has been impacted by the pandemic, WTO's responses worldwide, tools it has to support the economic recovery, and how countries are thinking about the future of trade, through the lens of an expert from the WTO.
