Smith Team Places Second in OSU MBA Case Competition

A team of first-year MBA students from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business traveled to Columbus, Ohio, last week for the 23rd Ohio State University Fisher Invitational Case Competition. Expectations for Maryland were high and the Smith team did not disappoint, coming in second place for the second year in a row.

Pitch Dingman on Terp Ride Bus

On Friday, April 10, and Friday, April 17, the Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship will host Pitch Dingman walk-in sessions aboard the Terp Ride bus as part of UMD's 30 Days of Entrepreneurship celebration (#30DaysUMD). Entrepreneurs-in-residence will be on the bus ready to give actionable feedback on business ideas from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Terp Ride will be parked in the bus terminal outside of Stamp Student Union.

Smith 20th Among Public Schools in U.S. News MBA Rankings

The University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business is ranked No. 41 among 464 accredited full-time MBA programs surveyed for U.S. News and World Report’s 2016 Best Graduate Programs. Among public schools, Smith is No. 20 in the rankings released on March 10, 2015. The part-time MBA program is ranked No. 26 overall and No.16 among public schools.
