Having a ‘global’ career doesn’t have to mean moving abroad, and the Careers Crossing Borders event series at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business is helping students recognize how those opportunities might instead be right at their doorstep.

Spend the summer of a lifetime working in Sydney, Singapore, Auckland, Madrid, Dublin, Prague or Buenos Aires at a for-credit internship. Students travel abroad for a 6-credit internship.

This fall semester, the Center for Global Business welcomed 21 incoming exchange students to the Robert H. Smith School of Business, providing them with invaluable study abroad opportunities. These experiences empower students to develop essential skills such as building a tolerance for ambiguity, how to develop relationships, and increasing their self-awareness.
