The Center for International Business Education: A Sum Bigger than its Parts

Marina Augoustidis, assistant director of CIBE Programs, Center for Global Business, writes about the CIBE Network and its impact. Since 2009, the Center for Global Business at Maryland Smith has supported over 4,000 students on study abroad programs, trained over 6,300 business professionals in global trade, and awarded over $125,000 in scholarships and grants to faculty and PhD candidates contributing new knowledge to the field of international business.

Perveen Gulati graduated Spring 2019 with a double major in Finance and Information Systems. Gulati served as one of the Center for Global Business’ student interns for three consecutive years and participated in several programs, both while working at the Center and independently.
