We’ve had an incredible academic year at the Smith School! From deepening connections with industry and government to celebrating student successes and engaging alumni, the momentum is truly exciting.
This academic year, we had our largest freshman class in years and more than 700 new graduate students started classes last fall. Our smart and highly motivated students constantly impress employers and corporate and government partners. Our faculty are groundbreaking researchers, excellent teachers and nurturing mentors. Our alumni continue to get more involved each year. We’ve strengthened our relationships across campus and have partnered on new cross-disciplinary programs and events for students throughout the university, including the new Center for Financial Wellness.
We’ve hosted CEOs and events on critical business topics with top industry and government leaders. We’ve made big investments in our classrooms and technology to support learning for the future. We continue to lead in the area of AI, with research, events and student projects.
Our students have more experiential learning opportunities than ever before, as our Office of Experiential Learning adds new opportunities, expanding the outstanding offerings we’ve had for decades.
We are honored to receive incredible investments from some of our most successful alumni to help us make it all happen.
You can read more about our latest accomplishments in this Dean’s Report. We’re gearing up for the next academic year and are always working to build on our successes for an exciting future at the Smith School.
