For the ninth year, Women Inspire (formerly Women Leading Women) will showcase Maryland Smith’s fearless alumnae leaders excelling in business. Under the new moniker, this annual event will celebrate female empowerment that inspires attendees and challenges them to realize and reach their full potential.

The Distinguished Speakers Series (DSS) presents the latest trends in international business and provokes conversation among undergraduate and graduate students, policy experts, and business executives alike.

Students attend a “speed dating” style networking event to practice their networking skills with KPMG professionals. Professionals have the opportunity to provide immediate feedback to students regarding their strengths and areas for improvement.

The Smith Analytics Consortium will host a networking event for alumni, students, industry and SAC board members.

The Global Showcase celebrates global learning by all business students who studied abroad during the 2020 winter break. Student posters will be on display “gallery style” from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. in the Van Munching Hall atrium. Students will present their posters to judges from Noon-2 p.m. The winners of the showcase competition will be awarded $2,500 in global scholarships which will be announced via email on February 14. All are invited — friends, family, faculty, staff and global alumni.
