This is the tenth in a continuing series of JAPP conferences that rotate among IE Business School in Spain, the London School of Economics (LSE), and the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business.

Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to assist someone experiencing a mental health or substance use-related crisis. In this 8-hour training, you learn risk factors and warning signs for mental health and addiction concerns, strategies for how to help someone in both crisis and non-crisis situations, and where to turn for help.

In this workshop, you will learn how to design and test a business model after you have identified an initial target customer segment and a corresponding set of value propositions. It will help you understand the role of the minimum viable product in helping to find a true product-market fit. Learn how to conduct your customer/market discovery process to validate elements of your business model, and learn how to identify what particular areas need special focus based on your business type.

Conflict is a normal part of life, whether is be in friendships, workplace, school or the workplace. Sometimes, the problem isn't the conflict itself, but how we approach it that can cause issues. Learning how to deal with conflicts can be a challenge, but having a cadre of tips can improve the likelihood of a positive outcome. GradTerps are invited to attend this workshop of review some basic conflict resolution methods to improve communication skills and the likelihood of positive resolutions.
