Founded in 2020, the conference aims to increase awareness around sports business, educate students about career possibilities, and foster a diverse, inclusive sports community. Register for Careers Crossing Borders: The Trek, a full-day experience featuring site visits to international companies and organizations across Maryland on Thursday, April 9. Students will explore global career pathways firsthand at companies including Tenable and The Terminal Corporation. Additional site visits forthcoming and more information will be provided upon registration.

Transportation and lunch will be provided. 

The Careers Crossing Borders: Global Business & Leadership Forum is a full-day event connecting students with senior leaders and global employers through an executive keynote, industry panels, intentional networking and a mini career fair focused on global business careers and leadership development.

The Robert H. Smith School of Business, in partnership with the Enterprise Mobility Foundation, has launched a co-curricular initiative to provide students with free professional attire. The Enterprise Mobility Foundation Career Boutique, located in Van Munching Hall, is a donation-based resource for Smith School students and Business, Society and Entrepreneurship Scholars preparing for interviews, job fairs and career opportunities. The boutique is a collaboration between the Smith School’s Office of Career Services and the BSE Scholars Program.

The ambassador of Nigeria will visit the Smith School to discuss educational exchanges with universities in Nigeria on topics including artificial intelligence, agriculture and health care. The visit will also include discussions on opportunities to connect with companies that sponsor international students and a fireside chat with students.
