Smith School of Business, sponsored by the school’s Office of Diversity Initiatives on Sept. 12, 2016. Produced, directed and filmed by an all-female cast, the documentary film calls for economic inclusion and development in the corporate world, connecting the power of social good and profitability.

On Sept. 23, 2016, first-year business students got a head start at the Smith Undergraduate Career Fair, hosted by the Office of Career Services at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. The first hour of the event was reserved for freshmen to explore companies’ booths and meet recruiters before the upperclassmen arrived at the Xfinity Center in College Park, Md. “This gives me great exposure,” said Sabrina Somar, a Smith School freshman from New Jersey. “I can make connections early on, so next year I’m more prepared.”

Louis is in the process of earning a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He is also a Scholarship Athlete on the University of Maryland Varsity Men’s Lacrosse Team.

Luke is in the process of earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance. Luke’s internship experience includes Pleasants Construction, Inc. (2014-2016) and RSM US LLP (2016-present). Upon graduation, Luke will continue into the Finance 4+1 Program, and prepare for the CPA.
