Smith School of Business is ranked No. 13 in the United States and No. 51 in the world, according to the 2012 Financial Times executive education rankings published October 15, 2012. The influential EMBA rankings place the Smith School No. 6 globally for faculty research, an area of strength for which the school is consistently recognized as a leader.

On October 1, 2012 - China's National Day - the Robert H. Smith School of Business hosted executive MBA students from Peking University HSBC School of Business (PHBS). The 31 executives were travelling across the U.S. on a study trip, visiting several U.S. cities and universities to learn more about the global economy from a U.S. perspective.
