QUEST Students Explore Innovation in Silicon Valley During Spring Break 2026
Twenty University of Maryland QUEST Honors students visited Silicon Valley over spring break, touring major tech companies, meeting alumni and exploring careers in AI, engineering and product development during the program’s Design and Innovation elective.
Smith Students Take Studies Abroad During Winter Session
Between the fall and spring semesters of 2025-26, 90 undergraduates at the Robert H. Smith School of Business studied international business in the UAE, Spain, Malaysia, Singapore and Switzerland, exploring global markets, culture and industry through immersive courses and hands-on learning experiences.
This is a premier event in the DC Metro Area designed to connect students with leaders and professionals from across the sports industry. Founded in 2020, the conference aims to increase awareness around sports business, educate students about career possibilities, and foster a diverse, inclusive sports community. Grad Students Place First in Americas, Win Silver Worldwide in Global Supply Chain Competition
Graduate students from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business placed first in the Americas region and won silver overall at the 2025 Global Sustainability Supply Chain Student Competition for developing an AI-driven, low-carbon logistics platform supporting small and medium-sized enterprises.
