The Maryland Department of Commerce ExportMD Program helps offset some of the costs of marketing internationally for Maryland small and mid-sized companies, including website globalization and translation. ExportMD awardees are eligible for up to $5,000 for ⅔ reimbursement for expenses.
The program is funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the SBA.

The Center for Global Business (CGB) and the Howard County Economic Development Authority invite you to join us for a roundtable discussion on export resources available in Maryland. The morning will focus on how to make exporting easier for businesses and feature a Columbia, Md., based biotech company that has been very successful in expanding their business through exports. After the presentation of resources, one on one 15 minute counseling sessions will be available as well until 11 a.m.

The Global Showcase celebrates global learning by all business students who studied abroad during the 2020 winter break. Student posters will be on display “gallery style” from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. in the Van Munching Hall atrium. Students will present their posters to judges from Noon-2 p.m. The winners of the showcase competition will be awarded $2,500 in global scholarships which will be announced via email on February 14. All are invited — friends, family, faculty, staff and global alumni.
