Prospective PT-MBA Students Attend Super Saturday

Prospective PT-MBA Students Attend Super Saturday

Applicants to the part-time MBA program at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business were invited to visit Van Munching Hall, home of the Smith School, on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, as part of a new admissions event series: “Smith Super Saturdays.”

Nearly 100 prospective PT-MBA students attended the event last weekend, which included networking sessions, workshops, panels, meet-and-greet with faculty, and interviews by current students and alumni.

“Prospective students were able to get a first-hand look at the professional network and culture that is uniquely Smith,” said Julie Dellinger, associate director of part-time MBA admissions. “All new applicants to the Smith PT-MBA program will be invited to an upcoming Smith Super Saturdays event. It’s a great way for students to kick off their Smith MBA experience.”

Smith’s part-time MBA program is offered year round, with evening classes at sites in Baltimore, Md., Rockville, Md., and Washington, D.C., and weekend classes in D.C.
