CES Launches New Hospitality Business Fellows Program

The Center for Excellence in Service at the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business is proud to announce the Smith Hospitality Business Fellows (HBF) program. The HBF is the newest addition to the Smith School’s portfolio of undergraduate business fellows programs. Students in the Hospitality Business Fellows program will learn strategic tools and analytical skills they need to succeed as business leaders.

Hospitality Business Fellows, designed in partnership with Choice Hotels, Hilton Worldwide and Marriott International, includes three, three-credit courses. Students are invited to apply for summer internships offered by our partners in their major areaa (e.g., marketing, operations, human resources, finance, and accounting). Courses will be interactive and experiential, featuring speakers, projects, in-class exercises, and site visits. Janet Wagner, director of the CES, is the faculty champion for the program.
