Artificial intelligence is transforming how financial institutions operate. In this 90-minute live session, Cliff Rossi, director of the Smith Enterprise Risk Consortium and former financial services chief risk officer, will lead a practical discussion on the use of AI in finance. The session will cover tools such as generative AI and machine learning, and explore applications in areas including fraud detection, credit decisioning, regulatory compliance, and customer engagement. Participants will examine both the potential and limitations of AI, along with the importance of governance frameworks.
Cliff Rossi is professor of the practice and executive-in-residence at the Smith School. He brings nearly 25 years of risk management experience in banking and government, with expertise in financial, climate, supply chain, and health and safety risk.
