Minoo Modaresnezhad earned her Ph.D. in Information Systems from UNC at Greensboro and achieved tenure from UNC Wilmington’s Cameron School of Business before joining the University of Maryland in Fall 2024. Her research interests include exploring individual behavior and cognition within information systems, with recent areas of study including collaborative learning in HAI teams, participatory AI, crowdsourcing-based systems, and individual security and privacy. Her work has been published in leading journals such as Information & Management, Discourse & Communication, and CAIS, among others.
