Justín Marcos Reyna, Esq., is an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business. Prof. Reyna earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Classics from the University of Rochester. After more than a decade in the Department of Logistics, Business, and Public Policy, where he served as Associate Area Chair, Prof. Reyna joined the Department of Accounting and Information Assurance in August 2026. 

Professionally, Prof. Reyna's career has spanned law, public service, and entrepreneurship. He began his legal career with the Legal Aid Bureau of Maryland. He then became Director of the Family Recovery Program, the first of its kind in the State of Maryland, creating and operating a dedicated court track to reunite children removed from their parents' care due to substance abuse — an initiative that saved the State of Maryland over $4,000,000 each year. He later served as Director of Public Policy and Service Integration at the Family League of Baltimore City, driving large-scale impact for youth across Baltimore City and leveraging the technology sector to connect programs, align outcomes, and produce savings for the public. As an entrepreneur, Prof. Reyna founded FOMO, Inc., a boutique design agency, and created SharedVillage.com, a SaaS data management suite used by thousands across Maryland, Delaware, and the District of Columbia. 

Since 2011, Prof. Reyna has taught a range of undergraduate and graduate courses, including Business Law I, Business Law I Honors, Business Law II, Business Ethics, Business Law for Managers, Law for Technology Managers, the Law of Uncharted Technologies, and Introduction to the Business Value Chain. In addition to being honored with three Distinguished Teaching Awards, he received the Allen J. Krowe Award for Teaching Excellence in 2024, the Legg Mason Teaching Innovation Award in 2025, and the Cutting-Edge Educator Award in 2026. 

Today, Prof. Reyna teaches at the frontier of law and technology, exploring the legal environments of emerging fields such as space and artificial intelligence.
