Smith Hosts Diversity Symposium

Expanding the definition of diversity and fostering a culture of inclusiveness were two themes echoed throughout seven company presentations at the Diversity in the Workplace Symposium held Feb. 11, 2013 in the Frank Auditorium at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. Brunswick Group, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Fannie Mae, J.C. Penney, KPMG and Target made presentations at the event.

Smith School Holds Annual Diversity Event

The annual “Diversity at Smith” event was held at University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business on November 7, 2009. The main aim of the event was to provide prospective MBA candidates the opportunity to experience the Smith MBA. A large number of potential candidates turned up to benefit from the daylong event, where they could directly interact with Smith Admissions Team, alumni and current students.

Princeton Review Ranks Smith School in Top 10 for Minority Students

College Park, Md. October 6, 2006 The University of Marylands Robert H. Smith School of Business MBA program is ranked No. 9 in the United States by the Princeton Review for offering the greatest opportunity for minority students. The ranking is part of the just-published 2007 guide, Best 282 Business Schools, which profiles schools with write-ups on their academics, student life and admissions, plus ratings for their academics, selectivity and career placement services.
