Maryland Smith Full-Time MBA Program No. 31 in Financial Times’ Top 100 Full-Time MBA Program Ranking

Financial Times has ranked the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business Full-Time MBA program No. 57 in the world and No. 31 in the U.S.

Financial Times Ranks Maryland Smith Among Top 25 in the Americas

The University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business is tied for No. 24 in the newly released Americas 2018 Top 25 Business School Rankings from Financial Times. The report, which scores schools throughout North and South America, combines full-time MBA, executive MBA and executive education data. The Financial Times ranks Maryland Smith’s full-time MBA program No. 27 and its executive MBA program No. 23 in the Americas.

Smith Master of Finance Rises to No. 2 in U.S.

The Master of Finance program at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business climbed to No. 2 in the United States in a Financial Times report published on June 18, 2018. The Smith School debuted in the ranking at No. 4 in 2017. Overall, the school improved from No. 38 to No. 30 in the Financial Times annual report, which assigns scores in 17 performance categories. Only MIT Sloan School of Management ranked higher among U.S. programs.

Smith EMBA No. 10 in Financial Times U.S. Ranking

For the third straight year, the Financial Times ranks the executive MBA program at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business as a top 10 program among U.S. schools. Financial Times editors base their rankings on 16 criteria, including alumni salaries and the percentage of salary increase after graduation. Evaluators also consider faculty qualifications, student work experience, diversity and international focus.

Financial Times Ranks Smith Master of Finance #4 in U.S.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. (June 20, 2017) — A new ranking by the Financial Times, released yesterday, recognizes the Master of Finance program at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business as No. 4 in the nation and No. 38 in the world. The Financial Times Global Masters in Finance rankings only includes accredited, full-time, cohort-based programs with a minimum of 30 graduates each year. This is the first time the Smith School participated and was ranked.

Financial Times Ranks Smith MBA No. 22 in the U.S.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. (Jan. 29, 2016) — A new ranking by the Financial Times, released Monday, recognizes the full-time MBA program at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business as No. 22 in the nation and No. 51 in the world.  The Financial Times Global MBA Ranking 2016 also puts Smith at No. 13 for placement success, a ranking of the effectiveness of the school’s career services in supporting student recruitment, as rated by alumni.

Financial Times ranks Smith MBA in top 25

Smith School of Business among the top 25 in the nation and top 50 in the world. The Financial Times Global MBA Ranking 2015, released today, also scores Smith’s PhD program top 10 in the world.

Executive MBA Rises in Financial Times Rankings

Executive MBA degrees at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business rank among the best worldwide, according to a Financial Times report published Oct. 20, 2014. The Executive MBA program, which caters to working professionals with significant management experience, ranked No. 11 among U.S.-based institutions and No. 44 globally. Both rankings represent growth since 2012, when the Smith School placed 13 and 51 in the same categories.

Smith PhD Program Ranked 11th in World

The PhD program at the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park, is No. 11 in the world and No. 8 in the U.S., according to new rankings by The Financial Times.  The rankings are based off data collected in 2013 and can be found in the fields of the Global MBA Ranking on the Financial Times business education website. 

Smith Strengths Highlighted in Financial Times’ Rankings

The MBA program at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business maintains its ground in the Financial Times’ 2014 Global MBA rankings.  The Smith School is ranked #50 in the world and #26 in the U.S.. The school is ranked #5 worldwide in e-business and #9 worldwide in economics, as rated by MBA 2010 graduates.
