The Center for Global Business offers students at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business the opportunity to apply the skills they have developed in the classroom to real-world consulting projects.

At Maryland Smith, students have the opportunity to create tangible, real-world solutions to critical issues across the business world. And this semester, students banded together to address another pressing issue – supply chain management and disruptions.

In the fall of 2021, Maryland Smith’s Center for Global Business partnered with three Maryland companies on the Maryland Global Consulting Program. This program is an opportunity that offers Maryland-based companies the chance to work with a team of the school’s MBA or undergraduate students to address challenges companies are facing in entering the international market.

BALTIMORE (May 12, 2016) – The Maryland Department of Commerce and University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business have launched the Maryland Global Consulting Program to provide global consulting expertise to small Maryland companies.
