Attend your first class at UMD Smith: Negotiation 101. A fan-favorite class, Professor Rellie Derfler-Rozin will introduce you to the science behind negotiations, dispel common misconceptions and give practical strategies for your next negotiation.

This one-hour mock class will introduce how data analytics is reshaping accounting. Using practical cases, it will show how professionals apply key techniques—such as ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), data visualization, and process automation—to gain insights, improve decisions, and boost efficiency in areas like audit, financial analysis, and tax. The class includes about 45 minutes of interactive lecture, followed by a Q&A.
