For CGB, a Global Business Education Award
Maryland Smith’s Center for Global Business has been awarded the Advancing International Trade State Award by NASBITE International, the leading association for global business education, professional development and trade skills credentialing. In awarding the distinction, NASBITE applauded the center for being "instrumental in guiding many activities that have helped to develop and promote international trade in the state of Maryland.” The award will be officially presented during the group’s national conference on May 20.

Global Teams Compete in the Final IB Agility Lab Focused on Supply Chain Management
As part of the #KeepGlobalSmith campaign, the Center for Global Business held the International Business (IB) Agility Lab: Supply Chain Management from April 14-16, 2021. The IB agility labs are a series of short, virtual case competitions that allow undergraduate students to learn from global business leaders, collaborate with international peers, and focus on business resilience.
