The health and safety of our community remain a top priority. In order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, the MBA/MS admissions office will not accept visitors or walk-ins. Candidates should contact us at FTMBA@umd.edu to adequately address your inquiry or set up a virtual consultation. The most up-to-date information from the University of Maryland is available here.

Latin MBA Association

Our mission is to represent Latinx MBA students and share our culture and heritage with the rest of our cohort to promote the importance of diversity and inclusion in society.

Our vision is to be a platform of people that help the entire Smith community reach goals. We are beyond our association. We celebrate diversity and practice inclusion, being a club that welcome people from different communities to learn, enjoy and grow.

Our objectives are: spread our cultural heritage with the Smith MBA community, design and implement events that add value to our careers in terms of network and preparation to the professional life post-MBA and reinforce the community beyond classrooms by implementing affinity events.

With a background in health advertising, I decided to pursue an MBA to combine my passion for health with my interest in creative problem solving. Since joining the Smith community, I've been inspired by the relentlessly ambitious and diverse student body, which despite being online for our first year, still created a warm and supportive environment. I'm excited to be a leader in LAMBASA and MCA and look forward to making an impact on campus!
